QUIETARC VPN

Privacy Policy

Effective October 25, 2026

QuietArc VPN is a free, account-free VPN app. This policy explains the limited technical data needed to create and route a WireGuard tunnel and the data that passes through the node only while you are connected.

Operator. QuietArc VPN is operated and published by THE L COMPANY, LLC (“QuietArc,” “we,” or “us”). Mailing address: 5793 County Road D50, Edgerton - 43517-9788, United States (US). Privacy questions may be sent to privacy@quietarcvpn.com.

1. Data used to make the VPN work

When a device profile is created, the app sends a randomly generated WireGuard public key to edge.quietarcvpn.com over HTTPS. The VPN node stores that public key and the tunnel address assigned to it. These values are required to identify the WireGuard peer and route encrypted packets. The corresponding private key is generated on the device, wrapped with Android Keystore, and is never sent to us.

No name, phone number, account credential, contact list, advertising identifier, payment information, or precise location is requested.

2. Traffic handled during a connection

Like every VPN endpoint, the QuietArc node must process the device's source IP address, DNS requests, destination IP addresses, packet sizes, and packet contents in transit so it can deliver the requested network traffic. This is transient routing, not creation of a browsing profile. The VPN service is configured not to retain browsing history, DNS-query history, connection timestamps, or per-user bandwidth history. DNS is resolved on the node by a local resolver with query logging disabled.

QuietArc presently tunnels IPv4. It adds no IPv6 address, route, or DNS server to Android's VPN interface; Android therefore blocks IPv6 while QuietArc is connected rather than allowing IPv6 traffic to bypass the VPN.

3. Retention and deletion

The WireGuard public key and assigned tunnel address remain in the node's peer registry until deletion. In the app, disconnect first, then choose Delete this device profile. QuietArc sends a deletion request, removes the peer record from the node, and erases the protected private key and cached profile from the device. A new, unrelated key is created if you connect later.

4. Sharing and service providers

We do not sell personal data, share data for cross-context behavioral advertising, or provide VPN traffic to analytics companies. The node is a cloud server purchased through BitLaunch and located in Chicago, United States. Cloudflare provides authoritative DNS and hosts this website; Cloudflare may process ordinary website request metadata when someone visits this policy, but it does not proxy the WireGuard tunnel. Google processes app-distribution data under its own terms when the app is obtained from Google Play.

Information may be disclosed if required by valid law or to address abuse or a security incident. Because the service is configured without VPN activity logs, we cannot provide records we do not possess.

5. Security

Enrollment uses HTTPS. Tunnel traffic is encrypted from the Android device to the VPN node with WireGuard. Administrative access uses SSH keys, the firewall exposes only required ports, and the node receives automatic security updates. A VPN does not replace HTTPS or make a user anonymous to websites they intentionally sign in to.

6. Free service, children, and transfers

The current app is offered without charge, advertisements, or subscriptions. It is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13. The node is in the United States, so technical data described above is processed there.

7. Changes and contact

Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Questions about privacy or deletion may be sent to privacy@quietarcvpn.com. General support: support@quietarcvpn.com.
